Goodbye 2012 & Happy New Year 2013!

The last week of December has been a busy week for me and whole family!
Had a family photoshoot for sister's graduation pictures on Saturday! The photoshoot session was in the morning, so as soon as we were finished with it, we had time for shopping!

Changed to casual clothes!

Simple make up of the day!

HD BB Cream from FaceShop, lip tint from Etude House, mascara from Maybelline, white eyeliner from Nature Republic and some pink blusher.

Tried on clothes at Cotton On. 

This shirt looks very similar to the one I was wearing that day!

I hear quite a number of people around me saying that I resemble Tang Wei a lot. I haven't watch any of her movies but I watched a few of her SK-II commercials. 

Hehe I admit, I think that I look a little like her too XD *blush*

If you follow me on Twitter, you might probably already know that I've been searching for a good eye make up remover :p I have tried Johnson's & Johnson's No More Tears but it was to no avail. My eyes were practically TEARING after using it. Eyes all red and bloodshot from all the tugging. 

Then luckily one day, I came upon a review on this Biore Makeup Remover for Eye & Lip and it claims that it won't sting the eyes! This godsend product does wonders when removing eye makeup! 

All the glitter dark eye shadow, eyeliner and WATERPROOF mascara just magically dissolves onto the cotton pad! And my eyelids are all clean and smooth! No tugging and rubbing required! Love this product to the max, will definitely use this after I finish my current bottle!

Got pastels from Daiso to try on hair chalk!

18 vibrant colours!

Use plastic gloves!

The chalk caused my hair to break a lot and it was very dry!

It is very damaging to the hair, even normal type hair! 

Don't do this on a regular basis! :p

By the way, that is my real hair colour under the sunlight!

Antipodean Cafe @ Bangsar

Hey lovelies! This will be a short post! I have heard of Antipodean quite some time already, but didn't have a chance to go, partly because it's in Bangsar! It's like the place to go to be seen, with frequent visits by local bloggers! I hardly go to that area, until one day sis took the wrong road from The Gardens which lead us to Bangsar. I always thought that Bangsar was near PJ area, somewhere deserted. I didn't know it was so happening! Lot's of fashion boutiques and cafes around the Bangsar Village / Jalan Telawi area! Next on my to-go list is Fat Spoon and Red Bean Bag!

The cafe is pretty small, and the menu is written in chalk on the walls. 

It's advisable to get a seat that is facing the menu :D

The famous BIG BREAKFAST! Antipodean is very famous for their BIG BREAKFAST! 

Although it is stated on the menu under Breakfast, you can actually get it all day long! I practically ate everything on the plate. The plate looks so clean at the end of my meal!

The bread is crispy, bacons very juicy, hash brown is cooked nicely, scrambled eggs good.

The main highlight of the dish is on the sautéed mushrooms! It has a garlic taste to it too. 

I'm not a fan of garlic, but the mushrooms totally taste better with garlic!

Went out just to eat brunch! Yum!

Christmas Shopping

Christmas is the season of giving! I don't celebrate Christmas, and I'm not invited to celebrate with friends, so this year, I'm pampering myself with presents! From myself to myself. Rofl...

Chef's recommendation - Cheese baked rice with mix mushroom

It already tastes nice by the name of the dish!

The upper layer of cheese tastes like pizza! ♥

All types of mushrooms in it!

Enoki, oyster mushroom, button mushroom, etc.

My stomach has weird reaction to mushrooms. 

I can't take in too much of it, get stomach pain, something like appendix pain. It's bearable though.

Hehe I love my long eyelashes, but removing mascara is such a hassle! I couldn't find a suitable mascara/eye make up remover that DOESN'T STING my eyes! I tried Johnson's & Johnson's No More Tears, but it only works to remove eye make up AROUND the eye area. It tends to get soapy and when in contact with my eyes, IT HURTS! My whole eye ends up looking very red :( 

Any advice? 

New dark sexy red nail polish from Skin Food!

Code: RE101

Love this Skin Food nail polish! Very light texture, not sticky. Dries fast and doesn't smudge easily. Price is very cheap too. Retailing at RM8.80 per bottle.

Have been looking high and low for this colour! The colours that FaceShop and Etude offers are neon colours! I prefer Skin Food nail colour, very classy.

A new discovery! I want everything from this store!

THE MUCH RAVED ABOUT Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion!

Got this little magic tube from Sephora, Star Hill. It is retailing at RM75 per tube. Many make up gurus swear by this product! It brings out the best of your eyeshadow colour, making it look very pigmented and doesn't crease on your eyes!

Hands down the best primer you can get! Works well to cover eyebags too! Available in 3 other colours as well. The one I bought is Original tone.

I have not get the Urban Decay Naked Palette, so I tried a normal brown eyeshadow with the primer, and the results are amazing! If you happen to stop by Sephora, test out the primer with the Naked Palette! 

I tried it, the colours are even more pigmented! The primer is a must get!

55 Kissful Tint Chou from Etude House

I got this lip tint from Etude House after testing out other brands like FaceShop, Peripera and Sephora. I prefer this lip tint because it's easy to apply and the colour is just nice, it is not TOO pigmented. I prefer this tube compared to FaceShop's lip tint tub version which requires me to use my finger to apply. I'm not keen on using my fingers to apply it on my lips, it is not very hygiene :p I bought 04 Tangerine (written in Korean, just ask for code 04) for RM22.90 per tube.

It has a pink and orange hue to it. Not sticky and very light. Colour is very natural on the lips ♥ Comes in 3 cute other colours! I wished they have a coral shade :p

Hong Kong, again

If you're an avid reader of this blog, you might probably notice that this is the second time I'm posting about my Hong Kong trip. It's my second time going to HK this year! The first time was this February!

I didn't order it because I know it's bad for skin and didn't have much an appetite in the plane.

Our destination is Tung Chung (City Gate).

Far far away...

Citygate is located just beside the airport. It's very far from town, around 50 minutes train ride from Mongkok. It houses a lot of branded goods at cheap prices! Honestly, I can't really compare the price of these goods with the ones in Malaysia because I'm not a fan of branded goods...Even if anybody were to give me 10 LV bags also I won't be happy with it. I'll just sell it off to get back the money lol

Went back to Mongkok! Still feel more comfortable there!
