Review: Skin Food Egg White Pore Foam

Hello lovelies! ♥♥♥
This will be a short review post on Skin Food Egg White Pore Foam, since well, I've only got the sample to test the product out! I got the sample from KoreaDepart! I love their mini samples!

I've never really paid attention to black head removal creams or scrubs because I know most of them won't work well! I mean, black heads are really stubborn and you can't just get them off in one day! It's a gradual process...

I go to facial at least once a month for skin peeling, and in the process of peeling, you'll get lesser black heads and your complexion will look fairer too :p

This packet of sample is enough for 4 times usage!

The foam has a white creamy texture. You have to work this foam onto your nose and anywhere that has enlarged pores (in my case, the area below my eyes) with a little water and massage for about 2 minutes before washing the foam off.

What I realised after using this product is that my skin feels very velvety and clean. I'm not too sure whether the black heads has reduced or not because I've tried only twice. It will make a suitable pore cleanser for before make up prep! It will give you this glow (one that you get from much hydration) and an appearance of poreless face!

Will I purchase this product? I will give it a NO, not because the product doesn't work, it's because I'm not a fan of pore cleansers! I prefer going for facial that cleanses deep into pores!

Wore this white top to uni and all my friends told me I look like a nurse! -__-
Will update my blog in another few days! ^_^

Review: THE FACE SHOP Lovely Mix Pastel Cushion Blusher & Holika Holika Jewel Light Waterproof Eye Liner

Hello again! Those who have not notice, this is my 3rd post for today. Maybe I just schedule some of my reviews on other days XD

This review will be on a THE FACE SHOP Lovely Mix Pastel Cushion Blusher I bought from Face Shop in 02 Coral shade! And lol, last minute decided to add Holika Holika Jewel Light Waterproof Eye Liner (shade 8 - Pink Topaz) into this review as I used this product in my picture below too!

I used this product twice already and I find this blusher fairly easy to use. It comes with a puff for easy application.

To use, just twist the puff a little onto the blusher to get the product, and lightly pat on the apples of your cheeks, slowly gradating sideways along the cheekbones up to near the ear.

The gradient builds up after applying 3 layers, and it is easy to control the colour intensity on your cheeks. And it has a lovely light scent too! ♥♥♥

It comes in a cardboard case. Light weight and cute!

I got this Holika Holika Jewel Light Waterproof Eye Liner in shade 8 Pink Topaz! It's also a best seller eye liner in Korea Depart! The pink shade isn't really obvious, the colour came out as light shimmery beige, but isn't TOO bright, which is perfect for lower lash line or inner corners of the eyelid.

I tried this on under my eyes to create brighter looking eyes. Love the creamy texture of this eyeliner. It glides on easily and it's surprisingly smudge-proof too! As I have OILY eyelids, this eyeliner works like a charm on my eyes! It stays on after a whole day out and when I'm about to remove, it is still visible on my eyes.

This eyeliner is also waterproof as stated. I had relatively a hard time trying to wash the eyeliner off with water from the swatch I did and tried using Biore Eye Make up Remover and it works, of course, but still leaves a little glitter residue on my hand.

It just goes to prove that this eyeliner is long wearing, smudge-proof and waterproof! And not to mention it's really cheap! Only USD3.40 which is around RM10 ~ RM12. I seriously don't mind restocking on this when it's used up, maybe I should get other colours too, like brown!

Sorry that I didn't take any pictures of blusher swatch!
In this picture, I used about 3 layers of blusher too. Not sure if you can see a light pink intensity on my cheeks! It's not that obvious from pictures, but looks great in real life! And of course, you can see my lower lash line with the eyeliner! :p

Will blog about Skin Food Egg White Pore Foam soon! :)

Review: Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

Happy Sunday everyone!
Today's review will be on good ol' aloe vera gel!
There are many well-known benefits of aloe vera gel being the best remedy for sunburns and widely used in hot weather for it's cooling sensation!

Disclaimer: This product might not work for everyone! Use this product at your own risk! This is not a sponsored product!

I especially love the jelly-like soft texture and pleasing fragrance. I used it for 3 times so far, and I found the product very moisturising, but a little sticky on my face after application, but that's okay. After washing off the product, my face feels very smooth and clean

As my skin is dry combination (mild oily T-zone but overall dry skin) , I cannot use it too often as aloe vera gel actually helps strip off oil from the face, making it suitable for those with oily skin

For people with dry skin like me, it's advisable to use it every alternate day as a moisturising mask to avoid your face from peeling and drying up! You can also use it to moisturise dry areas around your knees, elbows and heels. I also used it for relief after getting sun burns, it helps cool down substantially! :D

Advisable to get it from Korea Depart (in a bulk or sharing the shipping costs with friends) because in Malaysia, it is retailing at RM32! :O

I hope this review has helped you to decide on getting this product! :D

Nail Tutorial : Galaxy Nails

I COME IN PEACE! *reads in alien voice*
My red and blue nails were chipping and I had plenty of time on Fridays so I decided to try galaxy nails with my new set of Acrylic paint and brushes!

This is the end product of my galaxy nails!
Messy and easy to do, but time consuming!

What you will need:
- Sponges
- Tweezers
- Nail brushes
- Black nail colour / paint
- Green
- Pink / red
- Navy blue
- White
- Top coat

Step 1: I filed my nails in a squarish way.

Step 2: Since my black nail polish dried out, I used black Acrylic paint and used one coat of it on my nails. DON'T wash your hands after painting one layer of paint, it comes out easily with water, that's why you will need a top coat later!

Step 3: I cut out bits of sponges to dip in the paint. Make sure they are small. When dipping sponge into paint, tap off the excess paint on the paper before dabbing softly onto the nails in random blotches.

Step 4: Here I used navy blue, green, red and glitter purple paints.

Step 5: Looks messy here, but you will have to add the stars! Dot on some white and yellow dots and add glitter if you prefer! :D

Step 6: Add a top coat and you're done! Jja jjan! 짜짠!

Right now, I'm looking at my nails! The more I look at it, the more I love it. It looks like a messy piece of art on my nails! XD Sis said it looks like a warzone on my nails :p

Enjoy and good luck with attempting galaxy nails!
