First Glimpse of KLIA2

*UPDATED WITH PARKING RATES (25/4/14 12.47pm)

Happy Sunday!

Today is the official open day of the new KLIA2, which will be taking over flights from LCCT very soon. The KLIA2 will start operating on May 2 2014, and LCCT will subsequently stop its operation on May 9. Which means I will be going to KLIA2 for my next flight in May! ^_^ So grateful that I won't have to go to LCCT anymore! Phew...

I honestly prefer KLIA2 compared to KLIA. The parking area is larger, and there are more shops in KLIA2. I found the KLIA2 brighter too, with higher ceilings and more natural sunlight. Or maybe it's because I always take night flights in KLIA :p

KLIA2 is a real eye-opener. The concept is very different from airports I've been to in Thailand, Korea, Hong Kong and China. KLIA2 feels more like a shopping complex than an airport. I think I can easily spend my 2 hours before departure by shopping and eating :) Today I brought my DSLR pergi jalan-jalan... ^_^

Big sign leading to KLIA2. KLIA is slightly further than KLIA2, but you still use the same road until you see a signboard 500m before the turning to KLIA2 to the left.

Mulit-storey parking area.
Parking rates in KLIA2 is the exactly the same rate as KLIA rate.

*UPDATE PARKING RATES PER HOUR/DAY
Taken at the parking machine last week after my trip from Kuching! :D

Passenger drop off area

This is Gateway @KLIA2 . Gateway is KLIA2's shopping mall.
Lot's of eateries, and shops selling watches, jewellery, clothing, and souvenirs.

Spotted 3 Starbucks in whole of KLIA2. Awesome...

Exit Gateway > KLIA2
Thank goodness the linkage between Gateway and KLIA2 is very short.
Just few steps away.

Lucky draws, games and music performances at Departure Area.

People lining up to get their mock boarding pass.
I think they were testing out their systems too, before the actual operating date.

Turn left to go to domestic departure, straight to international departure.
To make it clearer, this is the flow from parking area.
From Parking Area > Gateway (Few storeys shopping mall) > KLIA2.

Pak Lat's drawing at the back of the boarding pass :)

Immigration area in International Departure.

Right now entering to Domestic Departure area :)

Baggage claim area. Looks a little like Incheon Airport's baggage claim area :)

March 2014

Hey lovelies!

Going to update on March! April update will probably come around during the next semester break XD

Shanny's booth! Pure dedication poured into decorating the booth.
It even appeared in Chinese newspaper!
I remember our booth last year...It was..pretty miserable :p

February 2014

Hey lovelies, again!

My February was slightly busier, cause that is the period that I have assignments flooding in.

Food at Komugi is so-so, but I love hanging out there..Coffee, cake and pizza :)

Margherita pizza, super loaded on mozzarella :o

Pavlova. Honestly, I don't quite like the texture, it was too soft, not much crunch to it.
It tastes a little bland too.

Visited Deepsie's place. Love her huge mirror, ideal for OOTD shots ^_^

Yoga ABC day. It wasn't as tiring and painful as my friend said.
The next day I can walk just fine :D

I may sound a little pathetic, but I have not much plans for the sem break at the moment. I'm the type of person who can do with food, tv, and a couch on a weekday. I love just lazing around. Planning to go book-hunting with the girls thou :D In the mean time, I shall complete watching my dramas, movies and reading my overdue books!

January 2014

Hey lovelies!

Once again, I'm back to blogging, but only during sem breaks. Huhu I neglected this blog >__<
These are pictures taken in January..My god, time passes so quickly :o

Pearl harbour burger from Big Mouth Burger. Set with fries and drink is around RM15.
This burger is just...meh. Nothing to rave about. I passed by the place last few days, and I saw some construction going on. Not too sure if it's closed down or renovation. But I think uni students aren't digging this. The seats are uncomfortable, food tastes..bland.

Attended Club Fest in North Wing.
Lot's of performances and dancing. The DJs there mixes good songs.

Group pic with facilitators

I need Face to Face pan mee once a month ^_^

My make-up essentials.
Naked 2 Urban Decay, Laneige Snow BB Cream, Kate Super Sharp Liner, Maybelline Falsies, The Face Shop Coral Cushion Blusher and Versace Bright Crystal EDT

My Chinese New Year DIY nail art.

Review: Laneige Snow BB Cream

Hey lovelies! ♥♥♥

This will be an overdue review of Laneige Snow BB Cream (SPF 30+) which I've been using for more than 6 months already! It's my first time using Laneige product, only got it after seeing Song Hye Kyo advertise for the brand. She's flawless *__*

I got this product off the department store for around RM90, but I'm not too sure what is the original price.

Disclaimer: This product might not work for everyone! Use this product at your own risk! This is not a sponsored product! I encourage getting a sample pack from the counter if possible. This review is based on the product with SPF 30+, NOT SPF 41+. There are two different levels of SPF, hence different oil levels.

I use this BB cream on a daily basis, usually for uni and days when I'm having "moderate" skin days, which mean days I have no pimples or just a few pimples on my face.

It has light to medium coverage, and it is buildable. It doesn't make my face look grey or cakey from applying few layers. It gives a matte, healthy-looking glow to my face. I usually opt for BB creams that gives a matte finish because my face gets really oily after a few hours, and primarily because of the humid weather too :/

It matches my skin tone perfectly, and doesn't cause any major breakouts. When I apply, I suggest not to dot all on the face first, instead dot on certain areas and quickly blend into skin. The BB dries up on the skin quickly.

I chose shade No. 2 Natural BB. The other shade is the shimmery type.

Comes in a pump.

Verdict:

Coverage: Light to medium, buildable
Scent: Not too strong
Blend: Have to blend quickly on face
Price: Slightly more expensive than normal Korean BBs
Texture: Watery, not sticky
Repurchase: Yes

I'm still using this after 6 months (I got it in Oct last year), and I plan to restock when it finishes. This is the best and most expensive BB cream I own :)
