Got my QM Test 1 marks, Office Application Mid Term marks and Economics marks for Mid Term and Assignment :)
Just sat for my QM Mid Term today, and I gotta say I screwed it up this time. I forgotten I was supposed to round up the final value because the data is data of human (object). They asked for students who attended the basketball club something like that and my final value was in decimal point FML *face palm*
I have another Mid Term paper for Film & Arts Appreciation and two more driving lessons before the JPJ exam! I really hope I pass the JPJ exam because I'm traumatized by the fact that my sister failed her undang test and JPJ exam on first try last 4 years, feel nervous and tense because I don't want to let my parents down :( Wish me luck for JPJ exam!
Sis took this picture of me at Grandma's birthday brunch just last two days.
She said, "Hey, you look tall here!"
And I said it's because I'm not short, it's just her that is short.
And yea, I'm way taller than my elder sister :p
I look quite fierce here yea? :|
Planning to meet up with my unnies at Pav this weekend! ♥
First time visiting Hong Kong, and I must say it's on par with Seoul, in terms of food, fashion, cleanliness, and weather. Like most of us, I grew up watching TVB dramas! Didn't get to meet any TVB actress/actors anyway :3
I went to Hong Kong on a 5D4N trip with my family and the weather there was quite chilly, colder than being in Cameron Highlands. Average temperature during the 5 day trip is around 15 °C. If you love cold weather, I think just wearing a thick sweater will be warm enough. Weirdly enough, I wasn't really excited about the trip, I packed everything so last minute! Almost forgot to bring my Tab charger :p I guess it's because we are not in the holiday mood, it was just a stretch of Public Holiday for 4 days.
Our flight was on Saturday, 4pm.
Took a picture of the 100 dollar note, bet I will use up all that I brought to HK.
In Malaysia, only Bank Negara can issue notes, but in HK, there are many banks that can issue notes too!
We were so embarrassed to get Junior Meal that we used our younger sis' name to order this.
The smiley Teletubbies potato brings back memories. I remember bringing it for recess when I was in primary school! And the cheesy pasta taste good too.
1852, somewhere in the skies. Sunset! ♥
Carousel number 4. Reached Hong Kong International Airport at around 2030. Around 4 hours flight from KL.
Left HKIA at 2100.
Yay HONG KONG TAXIS!
That cliché part in dramas you always watch when the actor will ask the taxi driver to go after someone in another taxi and stuff rofl
The TV in the taxi is so distracting. Hello, I'm trying to sightsee here?
Reached our hotel at 2145.
Novotel Hotel @ Nathan Road
City lights! Signboard lights!
Ground floor concierge
Lobby on the second floor. This is the bar just next to the check in reception.
Wow Mac computers :o
Pretty decor @ 8th floor! ♥
Watched IRIS on KBS World while unpacking luggage :)
The restaurant
Slightly blurry, forgotten I was using manual focus :p
The street is still very busy, considering it's already after 10pm there!
Supper at Tsui Wah 2235. In Malaysia, most eateries closes at 10pm, but here it's as if all restaurants are mamak restaurants! And it's a full house even though it's 10pm!
Tsui Wah is the most well-known Char Chan Teng franchise in Hong Kong. WANNA TRY EVERYTHING ON THEIR MENU, EVERYTHING SO DELISH! ♥♥♥
How to get to Tsui Wah from Novotel Nathan: From the entrance, turn right and walk to the junction, turn right and walk until you see Starbucks on your right. Turn right again, and when you see 7 Eleven, you are just few steps from Tsui Wah :D
The English milk tea has very strong tea aroma, best tea I've ever drank.
Fried rice
Chicken rice. Even their rice is so fragrant!
Wantan noodle
Fishball soup with noodles. Love their creamy broth,
unlike our soup, always very clear and unauthentic.
The next morning! Sunday morning :)
I think I look better in my sis' phone. This picture was taken using her Samsung SII front camera (2MP). Even better than iPhone's shit 8MP camera. You can try comparing this picture quality with your friends who uploaded all their iPhone taken photos on Facebook and you'll be able to see the difference.
Here's an ad on Samsung Galaxy SII, obviously poking fun at iPhone.
After watching this video, you won't feel like buying a iPhone already haha!
And this too,
Haha you can just drop your Samsung SII and everyone will go "OMG YOU DROPPED YOUR PHONE! IS IT OKAY?" and you will go, "Yea, why not? It's Samsung" *fuck yea face*
SORRY FOR THE TOTALLY IRRELEVANT VIDEOS UP THERE.
Catliner :3
I'll be back tomorrow to update on this post. It's already midnight and I'm typing loudly here in the upstairs living room, pretty disturbing to hear the keyboard sound when you are trying to sleep :p
We went to Tsui Wah everyday to eat, just a matter of how many times a day haha
Aperture number too small for this pic :p
Like what you usually see on TV, they will order Breakfast Set A, B and so on. I ordered Set A: Abalone & Shredded Ham with Macaroni in soup + Fried Eggs & Butter Bread for only
HKD28/RM11.20 (exchange rate x 0.4)
Dad's pork noodle. The meat is so tender! ♥
LOL Lisa Wang
PINK BUS! SO GIRLY! ♥♥♥
At Fah Yuen Kai (Flower Market Street) along Mongkok.
It's like Ladies Market. Or I think it's Ladies Market itself ROFL.
LOTS OF BAGS! You are allowed to bargain if there's no price tag.
Watch out we got a badass over here
*inserts meme*
If you watch lot's of Hong Kong drama/movies, you will find this street very familiar.
You may see guys dressed up as butlers, girls dressed up as angels to promote a certain IT product. I saw two girls dressed up as angels, and there were posing for camera like it's some kind of photoshoot. Reminds me of "I Love Hong Kong" movie, the one with Aarif in it :p
H&M!!
H&M is opening it's first store in Malaysia sometime this year!~
Speculations said that it will be opened either in Mid Valley or Lot 10.
They have TOAST BOX in Hong Kong too!
Sis' new handphone case for RM25 only.
Also for RM25.
Langham Place @ Mongkok
Shop selling smelly tofu. OMG RUNNNN!!!
They are so generous with the wanton filling! Full of fresh prawns in em!
Taste like kaya ball, but without the kaya :D
Takoyaki
Their takoyaki tastes weird.
Hong Kong loves curry. There's always a curry dish in their menu.
But when I took a bite of this, I was like DAFUQ IS THIS?!
Don't bother trying the curry there. I think even our Maggi Curry taste more like curry that this dish.
I actually walked back from Langham Place to Fah Yuen Kai just to get this.
Dad helped me bargain and I got it for just RM40! ♥
Sis' envelope bag. She bought it just because it's the IN bag right now. I can never use these types of bags, I meant, HOW DO I FIT A GIGANTIC DSLR IN IT?
2nd meal for the day in Tsui Wah. Everything there tastes delicious, like it's cook with art and passion. Not sure about their curry though haha
Day 3
Just me and my new purse! ♥♥♥
The next morning we took a taxi to Tsim Sha Tsui for breakfast.
Gotta love their street names. So angmoh-ish :p
Restaurant looks nice, but food is so-so.
Tsui Wah still much better than this.
Walk few roads down to go to Avenue of Stars
Most of my friends say that I look like Tang Wei.
OH RLY? :O Lol I wanna get the Pitera Water too!~
Lantern Festival that night
The weather that morning was awful...
Just to show you guys how foggy the skies are that day. The after photo after lotsa Photoshopping.
Jja-jjan!
Sis' looks hideous in this pic :p
Lol random aeroplane
I look kinda weird here too...I think this is the only picture with my face back, and not covering my face.
The same bears that were at Pavillion KL! :D
BRUCE LEE!~
OMG Damn delish squid! HKD30/RM12
Yay~
Appa took this picture of me ^__^
I only trust dad in taking nice pictures of me :p
Sis is hopeless when it comes to using my DSLR.
Doesn't look like a dog at all...
The other side of Hong Kong!~
Taking ferry ride to Central, Hong Kong.
The Star Ferry!~
Photoshopped on miniature effect :D
Cool building :)
OH MAI GODDDDD
Tram!~ :o
Another cool road name.
Taking MTR back to Mong Kok.
It was drizzling so we took shelter at this building opposite the Langham Place building.
Gachapons!
I've never tried any of these before :(
This too...
Lunch @ Sweetheart Garden Steakhouse
Baked grouper with cheese pasta ♥
HKD33/RM13.20
Bought lots of imported Japanese clothing from ROSY KISS ♥ (one floor down from the Sweetheart Garden Steakhouse).
After that we attempted to walk from Mong Kok back to our hotel at Nathan Road. Not a good idea. We walked like 37284723847 km for almost one hour. And my feet was already in pain, perhaps it was because of the cold weather. We stopped by this clothing store, MAPLE selling Korean clothes and pretty accessories. Something like FBlock but better :o
They use XO sauce in everything they cook! ♥♥♥
Yummy creamy XO sauce!~~~
Spaghetti with pork cutlet
The orange coloured sweet from TVB drama, Wish and Switch.
Younger sis bought so many of these.
Candid shot taken by sis
My lovely lens!~
Chatime @ Woosung Street
Chatime there is quite different from Malaysia's Chatime.
They have only two staffs managing the store, and they don't wear uniform :|
Not as nice as our's :p
Day 4
Toast with ham and egg.
I underestimated the toast, it was damn filling, with the extra thick bread :o
Taxi drivers there are very kind, they are kinda like tour guides XD
Our taxi driver that day recommend us to visit Sham Shui Po, to be precise, Cheung Sha Wan Fashion Street. Its a wholesale clothings street. Some shops allow retail buyers, some don't. Some split their store to retail and wholesale, one side of the shelves for retail, the other for wholesale. Bargaining is allowed is there is no price tag, but honestly the clothing is so cheap you won't need to bargain. Clothes were selling at as cheap as HKD20/RM8 (which could easily cost around RM40+ in Malaysia) and in terms of fashion, quite fashionable, trust me :)
Her name is Bi Lui :D
They have Gong Cha here too!
Dinner @ Ming Fat seafood restaurant down at Woosung street, close to the hotel.
Super cute Mannings (Guardian in Malaysia) advertisement! I wish I could watch this advertisement everyday in TV here :p
It's shoooo fluffyy!!!
We went back to hotel early around 8.30pm because we had to pack our luggage for early check out tomorrow morning. Ate tomyam noodles for supper and slept at 11.30pm.
7.10 am. On the way to HKIA
Reached HKIA at 7.30am
After collecting stickers for the past five days, finally got enough points to redeem two Hello Kitty x tokidoki figures!
Mine :D
Bread with smoked turkey
Sis' new Galaxy SII Mercury cover
We have reached the end of my Hong Kong 5D4N post!
Definitely going to visit Hong Kong again, maybe once in two years :)
